Associate - Global Procurement Analyst **LOCATION(S):** Walton Oaks, Surrey

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support needed for developing and measuring team metrics, internal spend and savings, external supplier financials and information, market and economic dynamics and procurement processes. This role works with GP's Marketing & Sales Services lead sourcing teams (Team) to help in the evaluation of business opportunities, supplier capabilities and sourcing solutions. These teams are typically made up of cross functional participants and may include Procurement, Finance, Global Commercial Operations, Marketing, Commercial and Business Technology. A key requirement of the business analyst will be to collaborate with category strategy managers, regional and market procurement colleagues. This position requires extensive use of MS Excel including Pivot Tables, and PowerPoint.


+ Support the data collection and analytical needs of the Team.

+ Support savings, diverse supplier and other team goals through timely, comprehensive and accurate financial reporting, analytics, and other related tasks.

+ Produce data analysis reporting in appropriate format for use by Procurement colleagues.

+ Be responsible for gathering, analyzing and reporting on global category spend though the use of internal systems and team collaboration

+ Provide reporting against policy, processes, systems and suppliers

+ Prepare discussion content (summary level or detail level) as needed for team meetings, stakeholder discussions, and sourcing events

+ Contribute at team meetings and, at times, present to different audiences, as appropriate.

+ Engage with your counterparts in other GP teams to share knowledge and best practice.

+ Support project office activities to assure tasks are executed among team in quality and timely manner.

+ Maintain a current knowledge of available information databases and emerging tools and technology that will best support the procurement initiatives

+ As needed, work with GP's Business Process and Operations on projects related to emerging tools and technology

+ Ensure that Procurement SharePoint sites are properly managed and maintained, or created if needed.

+ Work with internal functional experts, suppliers, and at times consultants, to document various procurement team strategies and improvement efforts

+ Support GP Colleagues, as needed, in sourcing events, including supplier due diligence activities, evaluating supplier capabilities, financial, status, cost drivers, and bid reviews and proposals

+ Create key sourcing documents (RFXs) and build expertise in the utilization of ARIBA eSourcing, provide support to sourcing teams for the creation, deployment and reporting on Request for Information (RFIs), Proposals (RFPs) and Quotation (RFQs).

+ Track and document project issues and concerns related to sourcing and supplier performance management


+ Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain/Procurement, Engineering, or related field required.

+ Work experience (internship or full time) in Procurement or Finance discipline preferred, ideally within a large multi-national company.

+ Strong organizational skills, capacity to quickly identify problems and structure solutions, and to plan and prioritize multiple projects, while maintaining high quality and meeting or exceeding deadlines.

+ Experience managing multiple tasks, competing priorities and conflicts; producing value added results.

+ Highly effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

+ Articulate communicator with effective interpersonal skills; effectively engage GP teammates, stakeholders and supplier contacts (as needed) on meeting objectives that are to our mutual benefit

+ Ability to work as a team member and/or independently towards departmental objectives

+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and assignments

+ Comfort working in a matrix organization

+ Ability to quickly learn new databases, analytical methods and systems.

+ Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers.

+ Provides insights from data and situational information

+ Comfort with proactively seeking others feedback, clarification, interest; knowledge and involvement.

+ Extensive use of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word

+ Ability to learn new systems; knowledge of Ariba and SAP

This position holds a UK Grade 05.
