Position Summary

We are seeking an Associate Director of Business Analysis for our Minnetonka, MN location responsible for short and long term operational and strategic business activities. This position develops, enhances, and maintains operation information and models that will have an impact on business decisions. This position also develops and implements effective/strategic business and technology solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes. This position is responsible for the following: (1) conducting and managing outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, and presenting information for operational and business planning; (2) lead functional or segment AGILE teams and projects in business planning, data analysis, process analysis, and solution design; (3) develop and implement effective and strategic business and technology solutions through research and analysis of Dental provider data, member data, and claims data; (4) utilize tools and environments including MS Visio, AGILE, SOAP UI, REST Client, MS SQL, AXURE; (5) facilitate and participate in scrum ceremonies, including backlog grooming, release planning, sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint retrospectives; (6) conduct requirement gathering sessions to create business use cases and user stories and collaborate with business owners, process owners, domain experts, and technical stakeholders to identify specific business requirements for automated processes; (7) identify capability gaps between current state and desired state; (8) perform risk and impact analysis to identify business impacts of system and application changes; (9) conduct current state analysis to gather current business, functional, and non-functional requirements and constraints and document future state using appropriate tools; (10) develop business context diagrams, facilitate workshops, and Joint Application Development sessions to perform requirement gathering and analysis; (11) drive the identification and prioritization of business and process solutions; (12) plan and execute user testing scenarios and scripts and prepare testing data; and (13) create and implement plans for identified technology solutions (14) Manage senior leadership/executive stakeholder expectations (15) Build business processes supporting complex technology automation solutions for federal, state, HIPAA, and compliance regulations (16) Manage Dental provider data by setting up technological remediation and integrations with source systems. 10% Annual Regional Travel.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Managing Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • 2 years related experience. Will accept experience gained concurrently. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program.
  • Must have Requires 12 months demonstrated experience with 1) Creating UX/UI designs, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, using tools like AXURE RP and MS Publisher for provider facing web based eligibility and claims management healthcare applications ; 2) Writing and executing user acceptance test scripts, data integration testing, performing web services testing of provider facing web based multi payer eligibility inquiry and claims management applications and clearing houses integrations using SOAP UI, REST API, and performing usability testing directly with physicians; 3) Building MVPs, EPICS, themes, market events, and features using Rally/CA technologies, and creating and managing product technology roadmaps/timelines using MS Project and ‘Aha!’ to track large programs end to end, including provider facing applications development/deploy, internal/external user authentication set up, and healthcare provider adoption after go live; 4) Analyzing provider data, payer data, and translating healthcare EDI X12 270/271 eligibility & benefits inquiry and response, 270/276/837 claims inquiry and response, 835 Electronic Remit Advice transactions segments for provider facing multi-payer integrations to create data mapping documents, implementation design documents and payer companion guides; 5) Agile Software Development Life Cycle experience in leading scrum teams with scrum master focused on healthcare compliance and healthcare operations domains; and 6) Creating MS Visio flows, data maps, context diagrams, and process diagrams for technology projects.
