The Global Communications team directs internal employee and external communications efforts to ensure the company's messages are aligned and delivered in accordance with Prudential’s goals and policies. To best partner with Prudential’s corporate functions, we are expanding our Global Corporate Communications team and looking for professionals to help shape how internal and external audiences understand and perceive our enterprise-wide story and overall differentiation in the marketplace.
Reporting to the Director, Global Communications, the Associate Manager is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of communications strategies and tactical engagement plans designed to build and enhance understanding of and appreciation for our Human Resources portfolio – specifically compensation, benefits and health and wellness programs -- across internal and external channels. The individual will partner with the HR organization, colleagues in Global Communications, other key corporate functional areas and business unit colleagues to generate, develop and execute on both internal communications and media plans that distinguish our best-in-class employee experience programs and services.
Assist with the development of communication plans and media strategies in support of clients’ key projects and initiatives.
Develop written, audio and video content that can be leveraged across Prudential’s internal communication channels and utilized to enrich external communication efforts in support of key aspects of the HR portfolio including employee benefits, pension/401k, health & wellness, HR service delivery and other related campaigns.
Offer ideas and develop concepts about media strategies that leverage and amplify corporate messaging and share across multiple platforms (e.g. earned, social and paid platforms).
Assist with project management and workflow duties including maintaining project plans, calendars and generating team reporting metrics and preparing meeting materials.
Bachelor's degree in complementary or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in a corporate/agency environment; ideally with HR/employer brand communications background.
Project management experience successfully managing multiple projects at once.
Crisp and concise writing and verbal communications skills.
Experience managing digital elements of campaigns and initiatives – including website content, social media, email, press releases and newsletter stories.
Expertise working successfully with media organizations and strong reporter relationships.
Team orientation and client-centric mindset with an ability to work closely with and support key corporate partners and clients.
Ability to work independently and effectively under tight deadlines.
