As the Associate Manager, Field Support Associates, you will lead a team of Field Support Associates (FSAs) within Individual Life Insurance’s Distribution and Sales organization. The FSAs provide administrative, operations and expense support to externally facing associates, and handle a broad variety of requests in order to enable them to focus on driving revenue. This position will be located in the Plymouth, MN office.


The specific responsibilities include:


·    Collaborating with FSA leadership team in establishing and executing a strategy for the Field Support Associate organization.

·    Establishing challenging performance objectives for the FSA team in line with team strategy and field needs

·    Coaching the team on work responsibilities, development goals and career planning

·    Completing ongoing capacity planning to effectively manage team resources and workloads

·    Serving as a subject matter expert on key FSA responsibilities, including expense management, travel and entertainment voucher processes, gifts & entertainment rules and processes, corporate credit card reconciliation, sales and inventory reporting, and the use of marketing material and promotional items

·    Interfacing with management and leadership teams throughout Individual Life Insurance on projects related to field support

·    Partnering closely with Distribution and Sales leadership to evolve the FSA support model as necessary

·    Managing and leading special projects and initiatives

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 2 years of management experience
  • Experience managing remote employees
  • Knowledge of Prudential’s Individual Life Insurance business and organizational structure
