As a Associate Manager in Distribution & Sales, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the new business case managers within the Prudential Life Distributors team. The Case Managers work closely with their Life Consultant and Internal Wholesaler partners to support their assigned Edward Jones Financial Advisors in a multi carrier environment. As a leader of this team you’ll help develop the operational procedures, coach and develop the staff and build strong relationships with the Prudential Life Distributors Field and Leadership as well as the carrier New Business leads.  
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Directly supervise a team of 10-15 people
  • Responsible for all aspects of coaching, staff development and engagement, and performance management
  • Responsible for daily workflow coordination to ensure overall Service Level, Production and Quality standards are met.
  • Develops annual performance objectives for staff, monitors achievements of goals and adjusts as needed
  • Recognizes, recommends and implements operational improvements
  • Responsible for the day to day application of organizational policies and procedures
  • Leads team and functional meetings
  • Manages and maintains relationships with Distribution sales partners, Edward Jones and carriers
  • Support and guide team and sales partners with case escalations to include service recovery, coordination and follow through with business/carrier partners and root cause analysis
 

 
  • Strong relationship management skills with experience in management and 3 years in a customer service driven industry preferred
  • An ability to work with a team to consistently exceed deliverables in a high volume production environment
  • Strong interpersonal, time management and organization skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Demonstrated leadership and personnel management skills
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated success in developing others and a strong focus on talent mindset
  • Ability to prioritize and change directions quickly
  • The ability to build relationships, foster team work and support, evaluate and drive change across departments in support of meeting organizational objectives
  • Some travel will be required
     
    Preferred Experience and Education
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience preferred
