**ROLE SUMMARY**



The Pfizer Consulting & Execution (PCE) Associate Manager will be responsible for executing global and U.S. regional operational management consulting projects of varying complexity and scope. The colleague will provide project and program management, leadership to project teams, and thought partnership with Pfizer colleagues and leadership.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**



The PCE Associate Manager uses management consulting skills, business knowledge, processes skills, change management and continuous improvement methodologies, measurements, and tools to analyze issues, drive alignment, and achieve operational improvement solutions for the business units. Typical projects include transformations such as restructuring components of the business, developing and implementing new operating models and governance, improving business processes, building new capabilities, etc. Projects may be global or regional in nature and often involve multiple divisions and/or Business Units (BUs).







Core responsibilities are:







+ Lead elements of the project planning process and independently manage both business strategy and implementation projects



+ Identify, analyze, prioritize and execute on business solutions



+ Work closely with business groups and other enabling functions to identify, plan, design, execute, coordinate and communicate diverse corporate initiatives on both strategic and executable levels



+ Support leadership on executing significant business solutions and change management opportunities



+ Communicate independently with mid-level leaders with sufficient professionalism and insights



+ Conduct independently small-mid scale workshops and support leadership in facilitating large-scale workshops







The Associate Manager will need to be highly proactive, work collaboratively with other groups, have strong attention to detail, along with written, verbal and listening skills, presentation skills, teaming, facilitation, mental agility and relationship building skills.







The colleague will need to have an understanding of the business and quickly learn the content while providing process and project management expertise.







The Associate Manager will most often work on a team of both PCE and BU colleagues, collaborating to deliver on elements of the projects per established timelines.







Travel ~ less than 5%







**QUALIFICATIONS**







+ Bachelor's degree required; MA/MS/MBA degree or other advanced degree preferred



+ 2+ years relevant management consulting experience internally







or from a management consulting firm, or 2+ years of pharma or healthcare experience







+ Experience in managing projects teams, programs, or workstreams of varying levels of complexity



+ Experience with aligning stakeholders, facilitating conflict, and communicating information in a way that enables leaders to have transparency on the underlying issues and potential solutions in varying settings including workshops, small group sessions or one-on-one meetings







**Other Skills Required**







+ Strong oral and written communications capabilities



+ Fluent with Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)



+ Basic understanding of Finance
