Team Description
Cisco seeks graduates that aspires to the role as a Network Consulting Engineer (NCE) to design, build and optimize customer collaboration and contact centre networks in order to achieve their business goals. 

What You'll Do 
The NCE delivers the technologies, solution and services customers need to expertly build and manage their networks. In this role, you will gain experience being “Cisco's face to the customer” working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment as a visible contributor delivering on our commitments. 

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, comfortable with challenging the status quo and has the capacity to respond and adapt to customer needs. The candidate will be expected to develop an understanding in key technology areas covering routing, switching, data center and programmability. In addition, the candidate will aspire to have excellent Customer Relationship Management (CRM) skills, to be well positioned to become a trusted advisor capable of building solid, long-term relationships with customers. 

You will part of the Advanced Services team and will be trained and mentored to be the future of Cisco


 Qualifications
* Recent graduate with bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, such as Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Computer Engineering or a similar field
* Fluent in English (verbal and written) with a minimum GPA of 3.0
* Passionate about networking, information technology or computer science
* Knowledge of adjacent technologies, holding Cisco Certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) or industry recognized certifications is a plus
* Knowledge in one or several of the following areas: IP internetworking, IP Routing products, Linux Operating Systems, Python programming
* Desirable experience in Telecommunications, broad exposure to multiple IT applications, Programming skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to troubleshoot technical problems 
* Ability to multi-task, self-start, work in a fast-paced team environment and work independently
* Ability to travel to customer sites (amount of travel will vary based upon your role and technology team)
* Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian or New Zealand Citizen
