**ROLE SUMMARY**



The Associate Engineer is primarily responsible for executing activities or projects planned by Sr. Engineer or Engineer. This person is expected to support implementation and development of new processes as well as improvement and troubleshooting existing processes. The Associate Engineer work includes but is not limited to coordination of personnel activities (across business functions), documentation generation/updates/review and obtaining/leading outside resources.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ Individual responsible for executing projects/activities planned by Sr. Engineer or Engineer.



+ Manage day to day work to ensure timely completion of activities - drive improvement and performance.



+ Responsible for organizing studies and/or test runs.



+ Direct/daily support of process issues related to site manufacturing systems.



+ Perform other related duties as assigned or required.



+ Perform data collection and analysis in support of process development, troubleshooting, investigations, etc...



+ Identify process improvements and implement.







**QUALIFICATIONS**







+ Bachelors degree in Engineering, or



+ 0 -2 years' experience with a 4 year technical degree.



+ Experience leading large scale/high profile projects.



+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.



+ Strong communication and presentation skills.







**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**



Able to stand for extended hours for test runs



Able to climb ladders/steps



Able to lift items of 25lbs







**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**



Ability to work extended hours, holidays and/or weekends as needed.
