**ROLE SUMMARY:**



The **Associate Production Planner** is responsible for tracking key site metrics for the Materials Management Planning group which are used to drive results within the department, site, and across the organization. This position is also responsible for coordinating projects within the Materials Management Planning organization as assigned by the department manager. The incumbent will support activities related to the inventory of production commodities and the manufacturing of finished goods through all stages of the supply chain.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ Compile data and generate charts/reports to track key site metrics for the Materials Management Planning group which are used to drive results within the department, site, and across the organization.



+ Perform analysis of data to determine trends and analyze root cause to drive continuous improvement and optimize performance.



+ Work with functional groups such as Validation, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to coordinate and/or support projects, trials, and developmental activities related to ongoing supply of products and operational excellence/improvement with regard to production planning and execution.



+ Conduct and participate as needed in developing and updating policies, procedures, and training related to the Materials Management Planning group.



+ Gather data and provide reports related to Materials Management Planning and the flow of product through the site to support regulatory agency audit requests, investigations, engineering trials, and process improvements.



+ Manage system for end of product lifecycle for surplus, obsolete, and rejected material.







**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**







+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering



+ Strong computer skills are required: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access



+ Ability to work with database tools for compiling data from various data sources and generating output in support of business decisions.







**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**







+ Experience within an FDA regulated environment preferred.



+ 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, manufacturing, manufacturing planning, or production control.



+ SAP experience.

+ Ability to interact with all levels of management.



+ Proven leadership and ability to influence.



+ Adept at performing complex mathematical and analytical calculations.



+ Effective conflict resolution skills.



+ Ability to analyze and resolve problems with minimal guidance in a fast paced, dynamic environment.



+ Ability to successfully meet financial responsibility, obsolete inventories and support business unit operational goals.



+ Ability to effectively lead meetings and present data across a broad group of functional areas at the site.







**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**







+ Ability to support job functions on an as-needed basis after regular hours and on weekends.
