Job Details

The Associate Project Engineer is responsible for planning and executing projects assigned by the Project Engineering Mgr . This person's primary role will be space management, coordination of office moves and projects associated with maintaining and upgrading general spaces. This position will maintain documentation for office and general space allocation for the site. The Associate Project Engineer coordinates all work including but not limited to coordination of personnel activities, documentation and outside resources.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ Maintain an ongoing drawing and seating chart of site office space.



+ Manage purchasing of office furniture



+ Manage office & general space upgrade projects



+ Manage contractors of various trade disciplines



+ Assure safe work practices are followed



+ Coordinate people moves & office setup



+ Update site drawing & CAD files



+ Work in Autocad and assist with drawing maintenance



+ Manage capital project planning and budgets for assigned projects



+ Individual is responsible for executing projects assigned by the Project Engineering Mgr.



+ Coordinates all work on scheduled projects (personnel activities, documentation and outside resources, etc).



+ Perform other related duties as assigned or required.







**QUALIFICATIONS**







+ Bachelor's degree required in a (technical field) with 0 -2 years' experience



+ Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment experience is preferred



+ Good understanding of cGMPs, engineering standards, validation guidelines, etc. necessary to manage projects in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements is preferred. This position requires a high level of resourcefulness as well as the ability to perceive and resolve problems, make difficult decisions, and to find a way to accomplish goals.



+ Knowledge of construction trades, facilities maintenance, production equipment design and operation, and utilities is desirable.



+ Must demonstrate the ability to manage assigned funding according to project commitments.



+ Must be capable of documenting and maintaining records, drawings and certification requirements.



+ Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required.
