The qualified candidate will join the Analytical R&D organization and will contribute to the development of biological therapeutics. This individual will be responsible for QC microbiology testing responsibilities in support of GMP operations, including environmental monitoring, endotoxin and bioburden testing, microbial IDs, PCR for detection of microbial contaminants, and sterility testing.







**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ Environmental Monitoring of a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, including air, surface, and personnel sampling.



+ Microbiology testing in a GMP laboratory, including endotoxin and bioburden testing, microbial IDs, PCR for detection of microbial contaminants, and sterility testing.



+ GMP documentation and use of LIMS and Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN)







**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**







+ Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, Biology or Biochemistry with 0-3 years of experience of working within the pharmaceutical industry.



+ Must have previous experience working within a GMP environment and completing GMP documentation.



+ Experience with Standard Microbiological Methods (culturing and identifications), Aseptic Technique, Pipetting and PCR are essential for this position







**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**







+ Previous experience with Bioburden and Endotoxin testing via LAL is preferred.



+ Exposure to Environmental Monitoring is a plus.



+ Experience using Labware LIMS/Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (eLN) is also a plus.







**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE INFORMATION**







+ Schedule will be either Tuesday - Saturday OR Sunday - Thursday
