Description


The Estimator/Parts Specialist must be able to perform the following duties, on a day-to-day basis:

  • Assist in selecting required parts, suggesting companion requirements and providing an accurate estimate
  • Assist with replacement parts required, per inspections, guest requests, or guest descriptions of malfunctions
  • Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and transfers the information to the proper document and computer system
  • Request special order parts solicited by client/technician/inner departments and notifies when they have arrived
  • Pull needed parts and follows-up on back ordered parts
  • Pull and delivers parts to technicians when necessary
  • Achieve monthly sales and forecasted goals
  • Maintain records of all repairs orders, invoice, insurance estimates, and special order parts
  • Assist in all other areas of the department, as needed
  • Performs other specific administrative functions as directed by management
  • Maintains high ethical standards in all actions
  • Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance


Qualifications


To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess the following:

  • A minimum of two (2) years Parts Counter experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and fellow team members
  • Knowledge and enthusiasm
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
  • Basic mathematical principles and application (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and percentages)
