Position Description:


The B2B Program Specialist works on operational and program based tasks such as order and data entry, documents creation. He/she assists with operational and client based assistance to assist with delivering on projects/clients and bring value to the Home Depot through B2B programs. This position also participates in supporting client services and sales processes for specific areas of responsibilities (i.e., HVAC, Flooring, Countertops, General Contracting, etc.) and completes projects tasks as assigned by Managers.


  • 65% Reporting and Data/Order Entry– bid entry, order entry into Salesforce pricing, weekly meetings, internal and external project updates, reporting, client and project notes, order follow up and tracking progress, prep and process project invoices as well as provide analytical reporting

  • 15% Documentation Management – system management and documentation, bid requests, new projects, approvals, invoicing, and working with Interline partners to establish best practices for seamless project execution

  • 15% Lead Management – Process leads, bids and invoicing that are distributed by the team and via system submission channels, process customers’ requests, projects and leads that come in through various lead channels (IBI, THD PARs, THD stores, etc.) as well as input new leads, bids, orders and invoicing into Salesforce

  • 5% Ad Hoc- requests to help with program reporting and turn key business ventures.


  • Typically reports to Operations Manager or Business Manager

  • No direct responsibility for supervising others.



  • Located in a comfortable indoor area.

  • Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


Additional Environmental Job Requirements:


  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.

  • On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Additional Qualifications:


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 1 year of experience business, retail, and/or consulting

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis
