Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for telephonic crisis intervention, suicide prevention, mental health and substance abuse screenings via the 24 / 7 San Diego Access and Crisis Line.
  • Triage individuals’ presenting symptoms as mild, moderate, severe and provide the appropriate level of care behavioral health referrals.
  • Provide basic information via phone to members regarding their behavioral health benefits.
  • Responsible for entering accurate relevant data and clinical information into computer and / or electronic health record.
  • Document all calls clearly for continuity of care.
  • Take 25 to 45 calls per day.
  • Other duties as assigned.
