The Operations Business Partners are generalists: supporting food, labour costs with the field operations teams. Responsible for QA, training and coaching on Operations tools like Labour Scheduling Tool, Kronos (Time and Attendance tool), Prima Web (proprietary system for recipe creation), Food management and facility management.

They are the first line of contact regionally for the field operations teams and partner closely with the OpEx Business Process Managers and Support Directors to drive efficiency through cost and productivity.



This Operations Business Partner role supports the Eastern Canada region and reports to the VP Operations Excellence while having a significant dotted line to the Regional Vice President Canada East. 

The position requires a strong bilingual business partner with fluency in both English and French  (written and verbal). 

  • Mandate is strategy leading to greater productivity on food and labour
  • Wired directly with GOE (Global Operational Excellence) /US OpX bringing information, data / analytics, best practices, tools and process into the Canadian organization
  • Responsible for disseminating information, data / analytics, best practices, tools and process to be deployed to the Canadian organization
  • Stakeholders/internal customers are O.B.P, Operations Service Director, Canadian Leadership Team, GOE and US OpX
  • Types of initiatives lead are bringing in tools from GOE/US OpX programs, processes, best practices for field use; developing and customizing programs and resources based on Canadian Business needs, strategies on how to deploy to the field, Food and Labour data management, reporting status of programs to GOE and CLT
  • Managing the food and facility safety escalation process


  • Bachelors Degree in related field comprehensive operations management experience related to food and labour costs required
  • Experience on internal systems eg: LST, Kronos ect. will be considered an asset 
  • Highly analytical and someone who is good with numbers: able to slice and dice data to come up with recommendations and be able to present and communicate results and strategy to an operations and non-operations person
  • Success in this position requires the ability to coach and train in a dynamic environment. 
  • Individual must possess sophisticated communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships across the enterprise. 
  • It is critical to the success of all FMG team members to have experience with and a strong inclination for change management initiatives.
  • The ability to work as a contributive team member with strong collaboration skills and inclusivity of various perspectives is essential to the role. 
  • Prior experience working on a large-scale project is strongly desired. 
  • Bilingual in French and English is required: written and verbal.
