Job Details

The BQ Coordinator assists the Supervisor and Manager with the scheduling of routine and non-routine biological testing, reviewing test documents, data and log books on a daily basis, and problem-solving testing and/or instrument problems and aberrant test data. This position will work to ensure the development of the Lab Analysts, and write appropriate cGMP documentation as the Supervisor designee. The Coordinator will initiate and assist with Laboratory Investigations. The Coordinator will perform release testing as necessary and perform as a backup for the lab supervisor's absence.

Assisting the Supervisor and Manager with the scheduling of activities and testing (i.e. EM, incoming, in-process, API, final drug products) are performed in accordance with established methods and specifications. Perform release testing as necessary. Reviewing test documents and data on a daily basis. Assist BQ staff with troubleshooting of instrumentation, analysis and methodologies. Develop and implement training plans to ensure staff meets all training requirements. Coordinate and ensure calibration and preventative maintenance programs for BQ equipment.

+ High School Diploma w/ 5 years of expereince

+ BS/BA degree preferable in Biology or related.

+ Requires at least 2 years laboratory experience which includes one (1) year of leadership experience.

+ Environmental Monitoring experience preferred.

+ Must be familiar with cGMP and cGLP.

+ Must be familiar with operation and maintenance of routine Lab equipment,

+ Must be able to troubleshoot routine instrument and test method problems.

+ Must be able to work with detailed technical reports and test procedures.
