What You'll Do

You’ll get in on the ground floor and help design, deliver a brand architecture for Cisco's product portfolios.


To help us get there, you’ll help design and implement a brand architecture that delivers customer clarity, competitive strength, and Enterprise Value across Cisco’s key product portfolios. You will do by informing the design based on internal and external data and insights and owning and handling relationships with business partners in the product teams.


You will also be part of a team focused on developing and owning the ongoing evolution of the governance processes required to lead and maintain our brand architecture portfolio. This includes and is not limited to providing day to day support for new product naming requests.


In addition to brand architecture efforts, you will work with internal teams and external vendors to commission and analyze Brand research (qualitative, quantitative, ethnographic). You will look to analyze and understand technology & market trends and work on brand-related research projects to ensure effective gathering & use of insights around brand strategy.


As a member of this team, you will also support the design of various analysis to determine the effectiveness of marketing efforts and its effects on global perceptions of our brand, while helping drive adoption & education of brand research across all levels of the company.

Who You Are

You have at least 7+ years of experience building and/or executing brand strategy and naming. You have done this with the world’s most recognizable brands—either at a blue-chip agency or on the client-side for the brand itself.


You have a desire to innovate, build & scale new processes from scratch. You like looking at numbers and trends.


You are comfortable working in a highly matrixed environment, across many groups and building relationships with internal and external entities.


You have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other related fields, and maybe even an advanced degree and experience with data analysis.


While there are right brained and left brained individuals, you see yourself as someone who uses both sides...and often.
