Description

The Brand Marketing & Communication Manager is responsible for managing all the Cox Automotive Canada communications to help grow the brand in Canada. This will be accomplished by supporting the strategy, development and implementation of Cox Automotive Canada communications. The Brand Marketing & Communication Manager will report into the National Brand Marketing Manager and work closely with the Cox Automotive Canada brand, the various brands across the company and the executive team across Canada and Internationally. This position requires the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and resources across various channels, in a fast paced environment. This individual will have experience in communication and/or PR and demonstrated and aptitude for writing and understanding of the role communication plays within the overall Marketing strategy.  The candidate must be self-motivated, organized, attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage and execute initiatives across all the Cox Automotive digital channels including websites, social media & email for Cox Automotive and all the brands
  • Develop and execute a content management strategy for brands and executive leadership team to grow brand within key digital channels
  • Manage internal and external communications for Cox Automotive Canada and all brands
  • Develop and execute brand materials and marketing campaigns across the entire suite of Cox Automotive products and solutions and work closely with targeted media outlets
  • Develop and execute written communication to support growth of Cox Automotive & brands in Canada including;  press releases, corporate newsletter
  • Manage the development of high quality print & digital marketing materials that promote our collective benefits and build equity around Cox Automotive and its brands
  • Establish strong relationships with key automotive industry media
  • Measure & report to senior management on the effectiveness of marketing & communication initiatives
  • Collaborate with Cox Automotive International and brands to leverage best practices / synergies where applicable  
  • Work closely with brand & communications teams across Cox Automotive brands to ensure alignment and expression of individual brand messages when communicating Cox Automotive Canada’s messaging

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing/communication.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels & tactics
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Bilingual in French & English preferred.
  • Automotive industry experience an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to act independently (self-motivated)
  • Team player with a positive, energetic attitude
