What you’ll do

As a Business Analyst, you will be closely working with global strategy and operations teams within Supply Chain Commodity Team to transition, optimize and scale current processes. On a day-to-day basis, you will own and drive transformation projects across the platforms, Streamlining process, best practices and efficiencies at scale for GSM Organization. With an understanding of ERP & transformation Experience in Supply Chain, analytics and data profiling, you would be responsible to pioneer the Next Gen Transformation in GSM and Other Functions in Supply Chain Organization. Understanding the project life cycle and scope of change, effectively communicate the changes to management/across functions and get their alignment to drive and successfully implement the Projects. You will own the data and platforms across engagements while assisting in the development of reports and key metrics that enable the organization to anticipate member needs with customized solutions.

The individual would be a strong communicator and negotiator who is comfortable working with internal teams as well as Cross Functional organizations and has an in-depth knowledge of the industry. Has the ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment. Ability to work well with a variety of people from different functions, cultures and in a virtual team setting, as well as having the flexibility to take on different roles/responsibilities as initiatives evolve and change.

Typically requires BA/BS or equivalent plus business process transformation experience. MBA is an added advantage. Well versed in Supply Chain Modules, ERP Implementation Projects, Strong Understanding of Analytical Modelling, Statistics, R, Python, Pl/Sql. Hands-on Experience in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems and Supply Chain practices is highly required.

Who you’ll work with:

·     You will work with global strategy and operations teams within Global Supplier Management Team & Cross Functional Supply Chain Teams to transform business processes and manage the implementation of those solutions.

·     Work both globally and cross functionally with Commodity Manager, Value Engineering Central Team, Business Unit, Mfg Operations, Finance, CM partners, and Supply Chain Field Operations teams.

Must own platforms and proactively identify opportunities for driving transformation in line with the strategic objectives of the organization

·     Work with peers on continuous process improvement & process Transformation.

·       Collaborate with IT to implement various platforms, tool and solutions.

What you are:

·       MBA preferred, B.Tech/BE in electronics, Computer Science or equivalent.

·     12 years of Experience and working with decision-makers within one or more enterprises in the supply chain domain or similar organizations.

·   Experienced in Oracle ERP systems and Supply Chain practices would be highly desirable. 

. Hands on Experience in End-to-End ERP Implementation.

. Strong Understanding of PL/SQL, R, Python, SPSS, Tableau, Big Data, Hadoop Eco Systems and analytical/reporting tools would be an added advantage

·     Demonstrated use of data and analytics to drive process changes and derive actionable insights. Experience in methods of data retrieval, modeling and mining across different platform databases to discover hidden relationships to drive meaningful process transformation

.   Experience in Extracting Data, Performing Gap Analysis, Build and Own Analytical Models/Tools/Platforms, Engaged in business process transformation initiatives.

.   Consulting experience in business processes transformation/improvement projects is a plus.

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

. Experience working in a Global Support Environment and related tools

·     Must be self-motivated. Requires strong detail oriented program management and influencing skills to work in a broad Global environment.

Technical knowhow/Hands on Experience required to perform Data Analytics. Data Scientist experience is preferred. The Individual should have experience in performing descriptive analytics, exposure to predictive and prescriptive analytics. Having working experience in Data Analytics tools such as R-Studio, Python, Creating data layers within Hadoop.
