The Program Management team within Corporate Compensation is responsible for the implementation and management of large, high risk and complex compensation processes and systems.  A unique opportunity exists within the Program Management team for a Business Analyst.

 

This position provides business analysis, data analysis and process management support for various equity and cash based compensation plans and processes.  The ideal candidate should have a deep analytic background, broad project experience, and strong written and oral communication skills.  The incumbent must be able to manage multiple priorities and excel in a fast-paced environment where the ability to work autonomously is critical.  Equally important is flexibility and partnering to effectively contribute to team projects and/or provide assistance and coverage to teammates as workload dictates.  Strong relationships with those viewed as teammates, customers, service providers, and vendor partners are necessary to ensure successful delivery of services and support.  This position will report to the Director of Long-Term and Equity Administration.

 

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead/assist business analysis efforts for multiple projects – collect and document business requirements; analyze impacts and inter-dependence; partner with technology teams to translate business needs into system designs; provide quality review of functional specifications; and coordinate/execute user acceptance testing 
  •  Assist in the calculation, modeling & analysis of monthly incentive accrual process; partner with Finance team as a point contact
  • Provide analytical support to compensation relationship managers and other stakeholders – includes providing reports, metrics, analyses and presentations to address business requests
  • Provide process management, ad-hoc reporting and analysis support during cyclical processes, such as the annual Compensation process 
  • Support expense tracking, analysis and forecasting
  • Lead troubleshooting process and technical issues, perform root cause analysis, reconciliations, recommend corrective action and support resolution efforts
  • Identify and assist with continuous process improvement related to controls, efficiency and customer experience



  • 1-3 years experience in business analysis, data analysis, and implementation of system solutions – experience in business requirements gathering & documentation is a plus
  • Experience in equity or cash based compensation administration is a plus
  • Highly motivated & action oriented individual
  • Demonstrates ability to develop innovative solutions to problem situations; ability to think critically and creatively
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data and create summary materials to be shared with management team
  • Strong partnering, problem solving and issue resolution skills, with the ability to identify processes that can be streamlined and improved
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written) with ability to present and clearly explain information to non-technical audiences
  • Collaboration skills and ability to navigate in a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and analyze complex and large data sets
  • Strong risk management and control mindset as work involves highly confidential data
  • Detail oriented with strong time management, organizational skills and ability to adapt to frequent change
  • Proven ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities and to prioritize day-to-day responsibilities and project related tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite - Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with HR applications and compensation systems is a plus (e.g., PeopleSoft, Oracle HCM, Cognos reporting or similar report writing tools)

  • Overtime required during peak periods
  • Occasional travel of less than 5%
