Prudential Group Insurance has an exciting opportunity for a Process Management Associate to join our newly formed Service Inquiry & Resolution Team, responsible for the execution of key initiatives focused on enhancing the Group Insurance service model and underlying administrative practices.


Responsibilities include coordinating and conducting research and analysis to quantify complex business opportunities, determine scope of issue and root cause, and strategize to create corrective action recommendations that are appropriate for the business. Supports with minimal guidance, implementing approved solutions and communicating results. May manage mid-size projects.



Job Responsibilities


Independently identifies the resources, data elements, and tools necessary to perform analysis to solve complex business issues.

In support of corrective action work, recommends analysis methodology, research outcomes to Business Lead for approval

Identifies documentation and action steps required to execute the analysis. Provides solutions to obstacles impeding the analysis.

Independently supports the implementation of corrective action(s) which may require providing guidance and instruction to business partners.

Performs necessary user acceptance testing (UAT), which typically requires application of SME judgment regarding the acceptance of testing outcomes. Provides UAT sign-off required to implement process or system changes.

Supports the redesign of workflow and process. Provides recommendations/input to identify risks resulting from process change. Provides innovative ideas on ways to enhance the process. 

Minimum of 5 years Group Insurance (GI) experience with experience supporting life products and advance products such as Group Universal and Group Variance Universal Life insurance a plus. Subject matter expertise of GI administration platforms and supporting processes, a plus.

Experience recommending and implementing process improvements. Experience should include:

Performing research and analysis targeted at determining the scope and root cause of an issue or process enhancement opportunity.

Communicating with internal customers. Communication typically relates to complex scenarios where the position is looked upon to provide input and guidance to leadership to make business decisions. 

Creating and preforming system and process user acceptance testing.

Exercising discretion on the approval of system testing results. Providing direction to peers on the execution of the analysis of data that is relied upon to support key business decisions.

Strong analytical skills; ability to think outside the box to execute required analysis under tight deadlines and resource constraints.

Proven results oriented with ability to work cross functionally to achieve goals.

Ability to balance structure and flexibility, with a drive toward results and accountability.

Efficient in Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word, Access, Visio.
