Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
The Sales Operations team is seeking a motivated Sales Operations Analyst to assist in the improvement of operational efficiencies within the sales organization, specifically the Institutional end-market. The ideal candidate will maximize volume, profit, people performance, and productivity. The Sales Operations Analyst must be highly collaborative, as partnerships must be formed with cross-functional teams and departments to drive business objectives across the company. This position will report directly to the Sales Operations Manager, Institutional.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

10% Collaborate with Institutional brand leaders and cross functional personnel to develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals

10% Analyze, interpret, and apply data for business planning, decision making, and recommendations to management

10% Partner with IT to drive the development of standardized reporting, CRM solutions (START), revenue enhancing technology solutions (RevGen), and build out of Pipeline dashboards

10% Develop KPIs and associated tracking mechanisms for the Institutional EM

10% Provide sales meeting support including deck prep and data consolidation

10% Mine, analyze, interpret, and apply data for business planning, decision making, and recommendations to management

10% Provide recommendations for effective cost containment and reduction strategies

10% Partner in driving talent management initiatives within brands and sales teams

10% Lead, influence, and motivate teams to drive behavioral change

10% Optimize and coordinate processes between sales and cross functional partners 


NATURE AND SCOPE
This position will report directly to the Sales Operations Manager, Institutional

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel: 
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required: 
HS Diploma 

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 1+years

Physical Requirements: 
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Strong core skills including strategic thinking, problem solving, and analytical proficiency
Detailed understanding of sales processes, sales data tracking systems, and incentive compensation operations
Ability to quickly assimilate and digest information while making complex issues easy for others to understand
Strong people orientation with great interpersonal skills needed to support dynamic sales teams
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Ability to interact with various levels of management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines
Self-starter and ability to work independently
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred, but not required
