What You'll Do

As a Business Analyst you will be a part of the Solution Desk Team which is the initial point of contact to for engaging and providing the CMS solution that will deliver the customer desired business outcomes. Proposed solutions will be articulated in documentation with the level of detail that would be needed for the Master Managed Services Proposals, Statement of Work (SOW) with regard to deliverables, milestones, and roles and responsibilities. 
As part of the team the analyst will evaluate requests for help for a CMS opportunity based on the customer segment, situation and type of solution that will fulfil the customer’s needs. 

Main Responsibilities:
• Evaluate incoming support requests
• Use Pricing Tools to create Cisco’s internal level of effort estimation and generate simple quotes.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to create, develop and augment a solution to meet the customer's specific requirements 
• Interface with the internal stakeholders to refine customer requirements 
• Integrate customer specific technology requirements into a standard proposal template
• Assist and maintain version control of all documents and templates
• Facilitate scope validation with Delivery Manager or Service Delivery Executive
• Assist and drive efficiencies around refined processes and procedures, and feedback into the appropriate team members involved
• Develop and advise on creation of standard templates
• Assist and help drive tool automation and process refinement toward repeatable, scalable & optimized services
• Run basic financial models

The Cloud & Managed Services (CMS) Business Development team is a high performing team of cross functional experts in Managed / XaaS/ HCS / IAAS services and part of a larger Customer Engagement Team in CMS. The organization is responsible for driving the engagement strategy and execution for Managed Services, and Cloud across all segments and thus helping accelerate Cisco’s evolution to an IT company with our customers. 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree required in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or other related fields.

• Experience in out tasking and outsourcing business functions
• Bid management and RFx Development
• ITIL foundation qualification preferred
• Experience with financial modelling and analysis
• Superior communications and organizational skills
• Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) expertise essential.

Desired Skills
 • Minimum of 1 year of experience in relevant roles in managed and cloud services including service delivery, with subject matter expertise in one or more solution areas.
• Excellent intellectual and analytical skills- ability to bring structure to problems effectively and drive to common solutions
• Fiscal aptitude together with basic ROI/TCO modelling skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams in a fast-moving and dynamic business environment
• Ability to influence a dynamic set of stakeholders with competing interests toward win-win outcomes
• Understanding of Cisco Product and Service portfolio
• Industry awareness and understanding of vertical specific business drivers and desired outcomes in order to align solutions
