With more than 300 colleagues in over 40 markets globally, the BAI team provides rigorous analytics services to Pfizer leaders, marketing clients and partners throughout the world.

If you want to become part of this unique talent base, build your capabilities, advance your career and be at the forefront of evolving insights and analytics, we are currently looking for a candidate to join our US Oncology BAI team.

The person in this role will help to drive the growth of Pfizer's Oncology portfolio as a consultative partner to the US Prostate Cancer team. Responsibilities will include providing analytic and forecasting support for Xtandi, a prostate cancer medication that is co-marketed with our Alliance partner Astellas.

+ Provide insights and strategic recommendations to support near and long term business planning by ensuring a thorough understanding of oncology market dynamics, key customers, and current and future competitors

+ Identify and track key performance metrics as well as support revenue forecast development

+ Manage the overall market research process by identifying information gaps, developing research plans, and executing analytic/research projects

+ Coordinate service delivery and analytic support across different BAI disciplines (Primary MR, Secondary Analytics, Forecasting)

+ Work effectively across an Alliance partnership with US commercial client teams, external partners, BAI team members and partner enabling functions (e.g. Medical, Finance) to deliver the highest level of service to the US Oncology organization

+ Contribute to sharing of best practices and building a culture of continuous improvement across the Oncology BAI team and the broader BAI community


+ 7+ years of experience in market research, analyzing and deriving insight from quantitative secondary data, and/or management consulting

+ Strong analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills with expertise in the tools of primary research and secondary data analysis

+ Product-level revenue forecasting experience, hands-on experience using epidemiology and trend-based models preferred

+ Expertise in the use of US industry data sources to support analytics that drive good business decisions; e.g., IMS, SHA, claims data

+ Experience deriving valuable insights from large, complex datasets (e.g. transaction data, patient-level data, electronic medical records, etc.) either through hands-on analysis or by working with other internal functions or external partners

+ Strong thought leadership and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify business issues/opportunities based on applying market insights against internal and external customer needs

+ Clear and persuasive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information and analytics into actionable insights and business recommendations

+ Understanding of the market dynamics of the U.S. pharmaceutical business (product launches, product lifecycle management, market and policy trends, etc.)

+ Experience working in an Alliance partnership is preferred

+ B.A. / B.S. required; advanced degree in relevant discipline desirable (e.g. MA/MS/MBA/Ph.D.)
