To be successful in your role you will work cross-functionally with IT architects, service owners, and functional leaders. You will provide leadership to the business architecture community at Cisco, facilitating the understanding of current strategies, business capabilities and best practices to define a target state architecture and blueprints.

You will also support the definition of and deployment of architectural processes, frameworks and standards across Cisco. You will participate in and lead business architecture community events and communications.

You'll be part of a team that is empowered to collaborate with multi-functional teams to find opportunities for transformation and provides recommendations on how we transform Cisco. You will have the opportunity to interact with and influence senior leaders as we shape the next generation of business architecture at Cisco.

Who You Are

Your teammates and our stakeholders consider you a trusted advisor who leads them in defining future state operating models. You are a talented facilitator who is able to assess business needs and translate these needs into an executive level view.

You will need to gain a high level of influence and build relationships with key business and IT partners in order to act in the role of “executive advisor". You are able to help business functions think through and define their business strategy, the impacts to several service functions, and the resulting requirements.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related study (or equivalent project-related experience).
  • 10 years experience as a management consultant or business architect.
