Summary: 
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for maximizing NextGear's revenue in their Assigned Region through aggressive phone campaigns each month to both prospective and  current NextGear dealers.  These calls will include lead and application development, utilization development, inactive campaigns, National/Regional Campaign deployment and profiling dealers for Products & Services. 
As well, the individual must demonstrate both oral and written communication skills in both official languages and ability to work cross functionally. 
Position Duties:
-Supporting NextGear AEs (Account Executives)
-Prospecting and qualifying potential customers via the phone.
-Manage lead distribution and follow up within a call queue/CRM, ability to use Salesforce to manage lead generation and client conversions.
-Attain daily/weekly/monthly goals for Calls made, Leads Sent and Applications Sent & Received
-Follow up on aged Leads per the Director of Customer Experience to revisit their interest level and provide re-qualified leads to the AE teams
-Contact Dealer Referrals and prequalify them for floorplan, provide leads to the AE teams
-Gain dealer commitments to floor units and provide this information to AE
-Provide dealer feedback to the local AE via e-mail
-Call on profiled dealers in their queue to gauge interest level in our current Products and Services including & future initiatives
-Support National, Regional & Local campaigns via phone marketing to current NextGear dealers
-Manage inactive and underutilizing dealers within an assigned Region.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Experience in prospecting and qualifying potential customers
-Bilingual (preferred)
-Salesforce experience (preferred)
-Ability to close business over the phone
-Must have a proven track record of excellent time management skills.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability and desire to work independently to produce results.
-Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, Word and other database programs.
-Strong customer service experience needed.
-Strong problem solving and interpersonal communication skills necessary
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential
-Phone dialer/call queue experience preferred
-Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
-Telemarketing experience
 
Education and Experience: 
-College degree preferred – or Equivalent work experience in sales.
-2+ years of successful inside sales or call center/customer service related experience required.
 
Physical Demands:
-Sitting, standing for extended periods of time
-Computer work
-Occasional bending, lifting
-Driving – must have a valid driver’s license
-Travel- must be willing to travel occasionally if needed
 
Work Environment
Normal office environment, with ability to visit and interact with all outside departments and prospective clients.
