What You'll Do 

The role involves leads, guides and develops programs (and operational processes) for partners.    The job requires strong business acumen, the ability to think strategically, strong analytic capabilities and the talent to operationalize assigned projects. A successful candidate will have deep knowledge of the Americas Channel and Sales GTM and keen ability to turn data into valuable insights to senior leadership.  Familiarization with Cisco’s partner incentives, programs and Channel GTM initiatives would be ideal.

In the role, this individual will work on structuring highly complex problems, gain analytical insight into the strategic issues which are forefront in the minds of the executive leadership team, exposure to senior-level decision making and the opportunity to establish relationships with people across the entire organization.

Who You Are 

The candidate must have a sales DNA and orientation.  They should excel in bridging strategy development and execution skills, and have outstanding business analysis (through analytics, problem solving, formulating hypotheses, executive communication, cross team collaboration and consensus building).  The candidate should be able to lead multiple projects from idea to execution.

Basic Qualifications:
A high degree of creative ability and curiosity, analytical thinking, and general business acumen

  • Knowledge of Cisco sales process, channel programs and Partner RTM and Architecture led sales motion
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capabilities to extract the story and translate it to a storyboard. In depth knowledge of Cisco’s tools and policy
  • Must be able to operate in a fast-paced sales led environment, and handle ambiguity. 
  • Create actionable analysis, content, slide decks, and field communications.
  • Must be able to interpret data and extract insight to help guide senior leadership
  • Lead cross-functional/virtual teams to design and execute major programs 
  • Drive key metrics to drive business growth and operational excellence
  • Hands-on, collaborative attitude and team player taking and giving direction in a matrix environment.
  • Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision, trusted, high degree of responsibility
  • Strong organizational skills, Solid Program management skills
  • Proficient Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Objects. An understanding of Relational Database and Statistical applications a plus. Background in SFDC.

Preferred Qualifications: 
7-10+ years’ experience in a business environment, either in Business Development, Programs, Strategy, Sales, Finance or Operations and Sales support.   Channel/Partner experience in Global, Theatre or Region level role
