Cisco's IOT Networking Business Unit is staffing its Global Business Development team to drive the sales of Industrial IOT Networking Portfolio in India.  IOT Networking is one of the growth areas for Cisco and we are looking forward to staffing a Business Development Manager(BDM) for the Indian Market.  The BDM will work closely with Cisco India Sales teams to drive the sales Industrial IOT Networking across various horizontal and vertical markets such as Smart Cities, Energy, Transportation and Manufacturing.

As the IoT Networking BDM, you will be responsible for:

·        Driving the Sales of IOT Networking Products

·        Frontline Sales Enablement            

·        Partner Enablement & Acceleration

·        Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Forecasts

·        Deal Support & Orchestration

You will work closely with IOT Product Management, IOT Product Marketing, Indian Sales and Channel Teams.  Create use case plays to leverage Cisco's strengths, Competitive Differentiation.

 

Who You'll Work With

IoT Networking Global Business Development Team is part of IOT Networking BU and will be chartered with driving the growth of Cisco's IoT Industrial Networking Portfolio (Industrial Switching, Industrial Routing, Industrial Wireless, Industrial Security, and Management).   BDM will report into Senior Manager, Business Development, APJC and will manage Indian Market and will also have influence APJC GEO. 

 

 

 

 

 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science minimum.

·        Master's Degree or MBA will be ideal

Desired Skills

Must have at least 8-10 years of Business Development/Sales experience, with extensive experience in Driving Sales, Sales Enablement, Channel Enablement, Pipeline Management, Forecasting, Ability to work with CXO’s,/Lines of Business Owners.  Industrial Networking/IoT experience will be a plus.

 

·        Good understanding of Enterprise Networking Portfolio (Switching, Routing, Wireless, Security, Management)

·        Experience working in Enterprise, Commercial, Public Sector Segments

·        Verticals Solutions Experiences in Public Sector, Energy, Transportation, and Manufacturing would be a plus

·        Self-starter with demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in plans and strategies with only general guidance.

·        Strong Business Analysis skills (Excel/Business Objects/etc) would be a plus

·        Excellent verbal, written, slide generation and presentation skills are absolutely required.
