Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
An external business development role,that focuses on driving incremental sales volume through coaching, training, and end-user sales activity. The function is to train, coach and promote selling tools or product categories field sales professionals as a value added opportunity for existing and prospective customers.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

30%- Training, coaching and strengthening the knowledge of our sales professionals on related products and procedures.
20%- Lead various training aspects, from Product & Vendor Training, to Systems & Sales Training.
20%- Aggressive Sales focus with existing sales professionals visiting customers with in our key institutional Market segments (Education, Healthcare, Office Buildings, and Lodging)
20%- Work with various vendors to gain support for our sales professionals.
10%- Continuously look for ways to reduce our operating costs and increase our productivity.

NATURE AND SCOPE

Reports to the Sr. Business Development Manager. Has no direct reports.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Environment:
Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
3 years

Physical Requirements:

Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).

Preferred Qualifications:
You know how to get in front of people! You have prior B2B selling experience and Cleaning or MRO product knowledge. As our successful Business Development Manager you will be self-motivated, driven with a can do attitude and possess a desire to be a part of an industry leading company. Your strong presentation skills and professionalism are essential to this role.
