You will need a well-rounded knowledge of the collaboration & meetings technology industry and the desire to market this technology to a variety of audiences; from the highly technical IT engineer to the business decision maker. In this role, you will be expected to create highly impactful messaging and programs targeted at specific audiences relative to a specific technology or business area. The role operates within the WW Collaboration Sales team and will focus on our industry-leading meetings & team collaboration solutions that will radically improve the future of work.

With ownership of meetings and team coloration solutions that are fundamental to the success of Cisco, we are taking on a new journey to show how Cisco is driving the future of work. We are recruiting for a Business Development Leader lead who can apply their experience to the role of WW Meetings & Team Collaboration GTM and transform of how Cisco talks about our meetings & team collaboration solutions.

Who You Are

The successful candidate will have the right blend of technical knowledge of Meetings & Team Collaboration and a desire to use those skills to change the future of work. Our ideal candidate will:


·       * Create global meetings & team collaboration go to market solutions by discovering opportunities, defining problems, exploring possibilities, prioritizing and securing investment decisions, and bringing those decisions to market through the various key stakeholders

·       * Work closely with key internal & external stakeholders (sales teams, regional and local marketing, solutions marketing, product management, partners and customers) to create, implement and drive initiatives that are targeted to a variety of audiences.

·       * Work with the Business units to understand their product and solution roadmaps and create higher level go to market plans

·       * Consolidate regional specific needs, gaps and requirements into a global plan.

·       * Test the go to market opportunities, problems and solutions to ensure that it is impactful

·       * Contribute to the global marketing community in your given topic area and serve as a subject matter expert to the regions.

·       * Track general business indicators, including market share, attach rates and competitor's marketing and sales program activities.

·       * Analyze and develop differentiation against competitors. 

You Offer

- 10-15 years of professional experience in a technical role such as product marketing, product management, sales or business development

- Broad technology awareness with an understanding of meetings & team collaboration, cloud and subscription

- Excellent writing skills with the ability to take complex technical concepts and convey them to a non-technical audience

- A team player with the ability to collaborate, lead and work in a fast-paced matrixed organization.

- An established track record of developing impactful solutions from conception through to execution.

- Strategic and tactical expertise in go to market

- Experienced in all stages of creating a successful content campaign i.e. planning, strategy, execution and distribution.

- You are highly creative with a proven ability to develop and manage engaging and original go to market initiatives through different channels.

- Excellent organization and project management skills

- Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy.

- Comfortable collaborating with global/regional/local colleagues as part of a physical or virtual team.

- Self motivated and has the ability to motivate and influence others.

- You have a fundamental understanding of meetings & team collaboration
