To support our transformation, the strategy team is responsible for shaping the future of Cisco GC, developing strategy, programs and initiatives to identify and accelerate new growth in theatre. This team has a major role in interacting and aligning with GC leadership to support our strategic goals, identifying market transitions and selecting the best opportunities. 

The Team
We’re looking for a strong candidate to be a catalyst for the transformation journey. This individual will be required to work at all levels of Cisco to facilitate decision-making, accountability, and results. This critical role requires discretion, intense focus, and quick turnaround, leveraging resources from across the company, our partner ecosystem, and the world, in developing and executing critical elements of our GC Strategy. As a member of a small, high-profile, high-performance, fast-paced team, the role provides unparalleled perspective and exposure to Cisco’s transformation. 

Role & Responsibilities
The role has the following key responsibilities:
• Strategic analysis: scanning, identifying and assessing best new opportunities for growth
• Drive strategic projects and assist senior executives on making critical business and operational decisions
• Lead strategic planning to success within committed timeline and budget, including defining roadmap, facilitating decision-making on priorities and organizational changes
• Engage with cross-functional leaders and Corporate Planning team on a regular basis to drive strategy planning and address potential issues
• Align strategic direction in GC to Cisco’s overall strategic priorities 
• Create and manage effective communications and process to align efforts to decisions and expected outcomes
• Support strategic communication between GC and Corporate

Minimum Qualifications
• Solid strategic planning capability: Corp. Strategy and/or Management Consulting experience
• Ability to synthesize complex constructs into understandable ideas
• Business model & business case development
• High-energy strong analytical thinker with excellent judgment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized, detail oriented, and resourceful
• Fluency in English and Chinese for both verbal and written communication
Desired Skills
• Prior experience in High tech industry
• Proven Program and Process Management skills
• International experience and overseas study is preferred
