We continue to grow and expand our services to meet the demands of the community for inpatient psychiatric beds, and currently are recruiting for a Business Development Representative/Community Liaison . The Business Development Representative/Community Liaison responsibilities include: Scheduling appointments, meeting existing referral sources/community partners (approx. 45 offices/week) and new business in order to review Hospital updates, assist with referral processes and obtain feedback. Liaising between the Hospital and the territory to drive direct referrals and strengthen Holly Hill’s reputation and partnerships within the assigned territory. Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to accurately reflect the Hospital's mission and vision. Travelling approximately 5 days per week and approximately 500-1,000 miles per week in Western NC or other areas as assigned. Effectively attending assigned conferences and territory events. Event planning skills helpful. Accounting for time spent on the road through regular updates and monthly reports. Supporting the Department through implementation of quarterly and annual strategic plans in assigned territory. Maintaining contacts in internal database (MedSeries IV) and updating as necessary Training provided for new hire. **Preference for candidates who reside in Western NC**
Education/Training: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Service field (e.g. Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, etc.); Master’s Degree in Business or Behavioral Health Field Preferred. Experience: 2 years experience in combined clinical /marketing, sales or contract services in the mental health field; Behavioral Health Hospital experience preferred. Licensure/Certification : Current North Carolina Driver’s License required Clean driving record required Knowledge and Skills: Self-motivating and ability to effectively manage territory through task prioritization. Primary understanding of and focus on Hospital's strategic goals. Knowledge of behavioral health field, including familiarity with services provided to mental health and substance abuse, with a working knowledge of DSM methodology Working knowledge with using electronic systems to develop and maintain referral source data bases Effective oral and written communication skills Effective Educational, Group Leadership and Public Speaking skills Skills in interpreting and applying standards and regulations applicable to programs and services Organizational, time management, problem solving, crisis management and team building skills Basic fiscal management skills Flexibility, creativity, and stress management skills
