Summary: 
The Business Development Center (BDC) Sales Manager will be responsible for outbound lead generation lead activities through individual efforts along with managing a small team of Business Development Reps.  The BDC team will be responsible for the solicitation of the company’s existing customer dealer base and various other duties pertaining to the company’s Business Development objectives. Business Development Sales Manager will support the initiatives and directives of the Director of Customer Experience to ensure growth and performance metrics are achieved while maintaining the highest level of customer experience. 
As well, the individual must demonstrate both oral and written communication skills in both official languages and ability to work cross functionally. 
Position Duties:
  • Oversee the daily sales efforts of the Business Development Representatives and make individual quota of prospecting calls to target customer base.
  • Develop processes and best practices for a fully functional business development center.
  • Implement KPIs for tracking leads, conversion rates and sales performance management.
  • Assist in the hiring and training of Business Development Center Representatives.
  • Actively support the field sales group in achieving further penetration into existing markets.
  • Recognize and develop additional sales opportunities as it pertains to the existing and new dealer base.
  • Manage the work-flow and current/future processes associated with the Business Development Center.
  • Provide frequent feedback to the Director of Business Development as it pertains to employee and team performance.
  • Maintain EXPERT level knowledge of the CRM and all additional technology platforms tied to the company.
  • Assist in providing ongoing CRM Operational Support and Training to BDC and Field Teams
  • Display proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Salesforce.
  • Contribute to the creative strategies of the BDC by liaising with marketing and senior executives to drive results
  • Responsible for monitoring, tracking and reporting of BDC representative activity and performance
  • Help create high performance sales culture through behaviors and ongoing initiates

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Experience in prospecting and qualifying potential customers
-Bilingual (preferred)
-Salesforce experience (preferred)
-Ability to close business over the phone
-Must have a proven track record of excellent time management skills.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability and desire to work independently to produce results.
-Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, Word and other database programs.
-Strong customer service experience needed.
-Strong problem solving and interpersonal communication skills necessary
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential
-Phone dialer/call queue experience preferred
-Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
-Telemarketing experience
 
Education and Experience: 
-High School Diploma. (College Degree preferred).
-2+ years of successful inside sales/sales experience required.
-1+ years of successful management experience in a sales/customer service environment.
-Automotive, financial services industry knowledge or experience equivalent
-Telemarketing
 
Physical Demands:
-Sitting, standing for extended periods of time
-Computer work
-Occasional bending, lifting
-Driving – must have a valid driver’s license
-Travel- must be willing to travel occasionally if needed
 
Work Environment
Normal office environment, with ability to visit and interact with all outside departments and prospective clients.
