The Business Intelligence Analyst will interact with the senior leaders in the company and be able to help provide them Business Intelligence in order to make decisions that drive growth for the company. The position requires strong communication, problem solving, consulting, and analytical skills. In addition the person should be creative, able to simply explain complicated issues and feel equally at ease talking with all levels in the organization. Fundamentally the position is responsible for the analysis of sales activity. The analysis function will work closely with the Sales, Finance, and the Data / Reporting teams within Growth Operations.

Responsible for the daily support of the sales function to minimize the administrative work of producers. Responsibilities include analyzing and reporting sales data, communicating changes to sales plans, providing knowledge about customers and competitors, communicating pricing data, and managing the operational logistics of sales meetings and activities. Works closely with sales and other functional leaders to develop and maintain the operational infrastructure supporting sales recruiting, goal setting, training and on boarding, troubleshooting order processing issues and producer requests, and sales - related information systems and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Sales Reporting: Collect, evaluate, and communicate sales information to support the sales and business teams and improve sales productivity; prepare both standardized and customized reports / presentations
  • Sales Analysis: Develop, prepare, and communicate sales variance, trend, and other actionable sales analysis to improve sales productivity; provide appropriate business commentary
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Work with Sales, Finance, and Marketing to develop sales budgets, forecasts and pipelines, and to measure / communicate progress towards those goals
  • Consulting: Consult with sales leaders and other teams to improve sales process and effectiveness
  • Satisfy ad hoc reporting and analysis requests
