We are currently seeking a strong Business Intelligence / Big Data Team Lead who can apply leadership to our product evaluations and toll gate review process. The ideal candidate will have experience in the health care domain with business intelligence and big data solutions. The selected candidate must be high energy and thrive working in a "start-up" culture as we build out this new product platform.

 

As part of our elite team, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating, implementing and supporting leading edge technology solutions. As the Business Intelligence / Big Data Team Lead you will work with stakeholders in delivering system capabilities to meet market needs.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Advanced Reporting and Analytics business teams to define reporting needs and support Big Data tools used in business reporting activities
  • Present our solution(s) offerings aimed at leadership
  • Lead product evaluations and toll gate process
  • Provide coaching and performance improvement opportunities
  • Responsible for working in the design and implementation phase of the system development life cycle (SDLC) and working with users to evaluate business requirements
  • Responsible for evaluating existing or proposed systems and preparing detailed operational specifications
  • Leadership of key projects to ensure successful completion
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop and articulate proposed Big Data visualization solutions
  • Gather and update project materials, project documentation, business process flows, and lessons learned documentation
  • Project involvement, including project coordination and participation in meetings regarding development of proposal strategy through completion
  • Speak to the project details to both the business and technical teams from the beginning to the end of all projects
  • Perform research of technology tools to: a) answer technical questions directly and thoroughly b) reflect the proposed service solution c) Influence potential clients of the benefits for our products/solutions to solve their specific problems
  • Adhere to UHG quality principles (responsive, accurate, concise, and strategic), style guide, and other criteria for a compelling and consistent message
  • Provide quality assurance assessment for all document deliverables
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a self-directed manner in a collaborative group environment with sensitivity to tight deadlines
  • Contribute to development and implementation process of proposed improvements Develop innovative approaches for achieving positive proposal response outcomes and driving response completion respective of deadline requirements
  • Accountable for tracking, monitoring and reporting to senior management the results of product performance and objective milestones
  • Perform complex product analyses and reporting on performance of assigned product
  • Product strategy management and execution experience
  • Demonstrate strong strategic technical planning skills
  • Provide support during product upgrade
  • Participate in issue recovery and root cause analysis of product
