We are looking for an experienced, energized Business Manager to play a key role within the AMEA regional team. If you have a passion for growth, for brands, for innovation & outside the box thinking then this is the job for you.

Based out of our Dubai for Middle East and North Africa Franchise Owned Bottling Operations, your role as the business manager is to lead the Pepsi Lipton beverage agenda within GCC and Lebanon, managing the top level relationship beverage franchise bottlers defining and developing strategy, negotiating and aligning Pepsi Lipton led initiatives and operating plans.

Key accountabilities for the role include:
The role works with partnership with the General Manager to ensure that sales growth targets across the AMENA region are met. It will be accountable for top and bottom line results as well as leading the brand building plans for Lipton and managing the relationship between Pepsi Lipton and the bottlers.
Specific duties include:
Develop, in consultation with Pepsi Lipton Regional Leadership and 6 bottlers across GCC, an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and identifying key issues and opportunities and the strategies, including:
Execution of the Pull activities (advertising, consumer promos, sampling and activation)
The Brand Development will be done by London and Dubai Based Marketing team.
Distribution targets and Trade promotions
Pricing tactics
Channel strategies with special focus on On Premise and Modern Trade channels
Align with Pepsi Lipton Regional Leadership and Bottlers on budgets to implement the marketing plans within the constraints of the Annual Operating Plan financial goals. Own all Exclusive Beverage Agreements/Exclusive Distrbution Agreements with Bottlers.
Lead the execution of the annual marketing plans, including:
Media planning and buying by leveraging the PepsiCo Media Buying relationship/costs.
Air the advertising copy as per agreed plans.
Executing sampling, consumer promotion and activation campaigns
Developing Point of Purchase material required to suit local channels and customers
Work with Regional Marketing team to do On Field consumer research and also facilitate the adaptation/dubbing of global/regional TVC copies.
Lead and support the Bottler GTM team in the execution of the AOP and delivery of key brand & financials goals
Monitor performance against AOP and financial goals, and conduct regular reviews with Bottlers and PLI stakeholders, including preparing required reports, presentations and forecasts, and recommending necessary steps to dynamically manage plans and budgets to deliver the AOP financial goals.
Manage local implementation of operational projects (innovation, packaging changes, etc), and co-ordinate with Pepsi Lipton Technical Operational resource as required.


Skills, Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
Knowledge/Experience of franchise economics
Budget & Financial Management
Strategic thinking & vision articulation
Some experience of managing P&L
Depth of experience and understanding in sales, channel marketing and franchise management
Working knowledge of brand and trade marketing, operations and finance
Demonstrated ability to turn marketing strategies into winning operational plans
Leadership capability

Resilience and maturity
Collaborating & influencing skills
Knowing the Business Cold
Minimum 5 years commercial experience in a franchise role or functional sales role
