Forest View Hospital, a 108-bed facility, brings 40 over years of experience to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues. As a part of our continued success and growth, we are seeking qualified applicants for a Business Office Specialist position:
The Business Office Specialist is the liaison to the third party billing agency and assists the Finance department in various Business Office and financial functions. Responsibilities include all aspects of physician billing including analyzing and reporting of professional fee services (revenue, reimbursement, expenses), maintaining accurate and complete data in various financial systems, preparing various journal entries, reconciliations, evaluating and implementing current and future opportunities for professional fee billings, documenting and evaluating current professional fee procedures, and serves as secondary resource to Payroll.
 

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

3 years of experience. 1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred.

Ability to make quality, independent decisions.

Analytical and strong problem solving skills.

Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes and multiple interruptions.

Ability to maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality.

Effective listening and communication skills.

Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer hardware and software systems (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)

Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
