You will provide direction and policy expertise to stakeholders as well as communicate, consult with and influence all levels of management both within the policy ecosystem and in cross-functional organizations to gain support and partnership for proposed policy changes and impacts. You’ll confidently lead cross-functional problem-solving initiatives, adjusting as you learn more.

You will:

-  Collaborate across functions to develop solutions that benefit the business, customers and operations

-  Engage others to achieve consensus to pending policy changes that support new business models

-  Generate respect, trust and alignment from internal cross-functional teams

Cisco’s Policy Governance and Assessment Team drives enterprise-wide quality and accountability through standardized governance, assessments, metric and visibility. -  You possess a strong understanding of industry policy standard methodologies related to product offer lifecycle, sales, order fulfillment, billing and service agreements. 

-  You work independently with minimal supervision and have excellent written, oral and presentation skills to audiences of all levels. We will rely on you to effectively facilitate working sessions with large, diverse cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

-  You have a Bachelor’s degree required, Engineering, Science and/or Mathematics area preferred; graduate degree a plus or equivalent experience; 5-10 years of Program Management and Operations experience.

-  Self-starter with extraordinary analytical talents and strong problem solving skills

-  Strong partnering, influencing & communication skills across a wide range of target audiences (i.e. individuals at the peer, management and executive level)

-  Proficiency with MS application suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-  Ability to simplify complex topics into core issues, create common understanding, and drive informed decision-making

-  Capability, willingness, and confidence to develop and articulate structure from an ever-changing and frequently ambiguous environment

-  Deep understanding and application of project management phases, techniques and tools
