Cisco’s evolution is an Executive Leadership Team (ELT) led, cross functional agenda that is being driven in by the Operations and Digital Team. By driving the coherence of offers, leveraging analytics, capturing value, and articulating the benefits of digitization to a multitude of stakeholders, CDO is missioned to effectively monetize how Cisco brings products and solutions to market at scale and in accordance with industry standards.


What You'll Do: 

As a manager on the EMEAR CDO Team, you will manage complex strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams and drive digital transformation in the region. There is a high degree of ambiguity and uncertainty of CDO WW initiatives and activities within the EMEAR region; thereby you must be able to bring together and plot a roadmap focusing on critical dependencies and quickly reduce ambiguity to focus on results. This requires clear communication internally and externally of the immediate CDO team, and the ability to foresee potential obstacles in strategic initiatives and develop contingency plans. You must be able to drive a change management and communications approach which keeps key players informed of how the recurring revenue transformation is evolving. You must also be capable of leading conversations to influence and drive better decision making through a closed loop planning process with multiple stakeholders, often at the Director and VP level. This role will require frequent traveling. 

You may be tasked with facilitating major workshops, own the orchestration of initiatives and capability maturity across the EMEAR region, and therefore this position requires strong operational and managerial acumen, clear communication styles, and an ability to build solid and ongoing relationships among immediate and cross-functional teams. There are often multiple inter-dependencies in our work, and the changes impact many cross-functional teams; thereby, a thorough understanding of the EMEAR operating model and business unit dynamics is crucial. You will need to provide cross-functional leadership and drive collaboration to determine project goals and objectives, and your work will be reviewed at critical project milestones. You will report directly to the EMEAR CDO Vice President.  

Responsibilities:

•       Strategic support for EMEAR Digitization Vice President to drive digital transformation in the region

•       Drive change management activities and work on the execution plan with the PMO

•       Facilitate large workshops and meetings in efforts to collaboratively interface with external CDO teams, resolve deliverable obstacles, facilitate decision making, and drive timely execution to obtain mutual wins

•       Develop and own country capability execution strategy & resourcing across segments and functions (Sales Operations, Partner Organization, Architecture teams, Systems Engineering Organization etc.)

•       Develop execution plans that incorporate sound contingency planning and risk assessments.

•       Communicate with necessary stakeholders to keep both the ’downstream’ and ‘upstream’ team informed

•       Provide CDO communications to key stakeholders as well as ensure real-time escalation response to ensure initiatives progress effectively-exemplary escalation management

•       Track progress in key ownership areas, and enhance EMEAR-wide and team-wide best practice sharing to solve complex problems 


Who You Are:

•       10+ years of growing responsibilities in Consulting/IT industry

•       Excessive experience in managing and implementing large scale change

•       A Big-picture thinker who possess a proactive, creative, innovative, and action-oriented entrepreneurial attitude

•       Effective at leading cross-functional and cross-organizational teams beyond “business as usual” to achieve results at pace

•       Contributes to a successful team environment by being a catalyst for positive, collaborative, and well-organized change

•       Ability to establish a network and trusted relationships among stakeholders

•       Demonstrates strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills in building consensus with people at all levels

•       Ability to predict risk areas and create mitigation/contingency strategies

•       Analytical mindset to derive actionable

•       Capable of leading conversations to influence and drive better decision making with multiple stakeholders, upstream and downstream, to effectively facilitate, communicate, and drive operational change and adoption
