Position Description:
The HDMS Business Operations Manager is responsible for driving sales, customer service, associate development, performance management,and HDMS profitability. Managing calculations, resolutions, payment processing, payment declines and claims processes and Warehouse communications. This position also ensures that HDMS business operations team prepares all flooring quotes and resolves all labor, installation and/or other job-related issues, ensuring that all jobs are processed with accuracy and urgency ensuring excellent customer service. This will include ensuring appropriate allocation of resources in business operations core functions and playing a critical role in driving safety standards and environmental compliance related to installations. They will support the Director of Business Operations and manage long term planning and project management, leading and supporting D23 initiatives, operational process and technology improvements and building and maintaining productive relationships among HDMS, D23 and 3rd party service providers.


40%- Responsible for effective management and leadership of all HDMS Business Operations functions and associates. Partnership with Sales leadership to ensure that Business Operations are aligned with the D23 vision.
20%- Manage and drive productivity, performance management, associate development, succession planning and engagement. Collaborating with leaders on execution of associate development plans, assessing cross training needs, coordinating and implementing learning plans
20%- Ensure that all project needs are met; associate/installer concerns are resolved;
Including associate assignments and scheduling needs to meet operational demand.
20%- Collaborate with HDMS and D23 operations teams and service providers to drive and manage new projects and process improvement while ensuring quality performance of existing processes. Leads overall operational workflow of HDMS. Facilitating and attending meetings.


This position reports to the Director of Business Operations.
This position has no direct reports.


Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
3 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Call Center or customer service experience
Strong computer skills: Visio, Excel, Microsoft Office

Documentation of processes, analyzing trends, problem solving.
Proven record of successful project management.
Demonstrated success in developing and managing cross-functional, non-direct report teams and processes in a Call Center environment and fostering an environment of team work, customer satisfaction, communication, approachability and empowerment.
Ability to achieve results despite large workload and competing demands.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
