Description:

The Business Relationship Management Senior Manager provides leadership, ownership and accountability for the relationship from the PepsiCo Foodservice organization to PepsiCo IT. The Senior Manager will shape business demand and define solution concepts, serving as the single contact point for leaders PepsiCo's Equipment Service (PES) and with additional support for the Foodservice Sales (FS) functions. This leadership role includes working directly with Business and IT Leadership teams, to formulate and drive solutions, while communicating direction, status and options. The Senior Manager will lead and manage a team of professionals to define, analyze and provide high-level solution design, advancing new capability/functionality for the PES & FS Sales applications. The role closely collaborates and partners with PepsiCo's IT Develop and Delivery organization to deliver creative, high quality and innovative business solutions.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Partners with Senior Business sponsors to formulate Business Case goals, identify high level Business solutions and align on initiatives that enable Business objectives
  • Lead and coach a team of Business Analysts (BA) in the collection and definition of business requirements, helping to identify and define critical business processes, guide the solution and high level wireframe design.
  • Function as a major contributor in the IT Annual Operating Plan development process as well as the Out of Cycle funding process and help secure project estimates from Development / Delivery team and the Operate team.
  • Define, capture and measure both pre and post-deployment ROI for all initiatives.
  • Shape business technology value realization, leveraging PepsiCo's strategic plans and AOP.
  • Oversees prioritization and delivery of solutions for area(s) of ownership to ensure value realization
  • Supports development of Strategic Roadmap (i.e., defines the case for change, gains investment approval, identifies pursuit opportunities)
  • Defines the strategy for integrating systems by providing a technology perspective that ensures alignment of IT approach
  • Participate in solution strategy planning and application analytics, providing \"out of the box\" thinking to identify new opportunities to innovate and create lasting capability.
  • Act as a liaison between third party solution providers and Business Teams, working closely with both to advance new features, innovative technology to deliver enhanced functionality and capability to PES.
  • Collaborate with IT and Business leaders in a matrix organizational structure to provide innovative, quality solutions which exceed business goals and expectations
  • Seek new or existing technology solutions in order to Prototype and formulate refined, creative solutions.
  • Create SOWs, incorporating aligned requirements, PPM Charter Documents and leading respective meetings to ensure understanding and alignment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS or IT required, Master's Degree preferred
  • 10+ yrs IT experience in roles of increasing scope and responsibility including Business Analysis, IT Leadership and IT Strategy development

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Broad understanding of Business and IT functions in the CPG industry and processes along with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of senior-level interaction, communication and presentation experience.
  • Must be highly self-motivated individual, with a track record of driving competing & conflicting priorities
  • Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision while consistently meeting objectives
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various Business Partners as well as internal and external technical teams
  • Demonstrated experience gathering, analyzing, distilling and summarizing Business requirements
  • Ability to Lead, Coach and Develop a team of high caliber IT professionals setting objectives and managing day to day to deliver results
  • Strong experience working with software development and technology solution providers
  • Experience with application configuration, setup, integration and support in order to help with estimation and ROI analysis
  • Knowledge and background of PepsiCo infrastructure (servers, setup, and configuration) and experience troubleshooting operational issues, on mobile platforms is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of databases such as Sybase, Oracle and Teradata. Experience working with Objective C, Java, SQL, stored procedures is a plus.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 15% of time
