As a Systems Support Lead within Meraki's Business Systems team, you are a member of software engineering project teams critical to the operations of the business. Systems enhancement requests will bring you in contact with a wide variety of business teams at Meraki including Sales, Product, Strategy, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing. In this fast-paced environment, you will meet with business requestors, prioritize tasks, coordinate with cross-functional groups, and see projects to their successful completion. You will enable business systems software engineers to deliver meaningful solutions by translating business requests into high level technical designs, scoping level of effort for development, and managing assignment of development resources to tasks. You are a self-starter with a customer service-oriented mindset, excellent troubleshooting skills, a knack for describing how systems are integrated, and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interact extensively with business users and development leads to evaluate and refine business requirements, define timelines, and communicate the status of requests
  • Work with engineering team to assign resources to complete requests
  • Develop strong working relationships with business teams to understand goals and priorities across the company
  • Act as the point of contact for a queue of inbound cases, prioritizing requests, troubleshooting custom code implementations and providing estimations on time to completion
  • Break down requests to effectively track successful outcomes with software engineers
  • Establish deployment process improvements and coordinate sandbox refresh schedules, creating a foundation for a seamless development experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years' experience as a software developer
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • Strong analytical skills to quickly recognize issues and opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies
  • Big plus for having prior experience with Salesforce.com or JIRA
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in the areas of teamwork, influencing skills, and ability to facilitate dynamic meetings and discussions
  • Ability to manage and multi-task across multiple projects and teams
