What You'll Do

The Video Solutions Architect develops the design of the customer business solution at the systems and network level. The individual will execute to the Cisco Plan, Design and Implementation Delivery Methodology, best practices documentation development and thought leadership is expected. In this role you may also be asked to execute on Optimization services like design review and validation, software strategies - bug scrubs and recommendations, knowledge transfer and escalation support on P1 and P2 cases. You are going to contribute to the technical direction for Cisco Advanced Services standard methodologies and functional roles within customer engagements. Who You'll Work With

You’ll be part of a highly motivated and collaborative team that makes Cisco a trailblazer in the video industry. You will have the opportunity to work with sales, business development, services lines and delivery teams, to provide solution level Connected Experiences consulting expertise to large, strategic customers (Fortune 500).You'll work cross-functionally with multiple business units and solution teams to utilize multiple technologies in building end to end and/or vertical specific solutions for our clients.

Who You Are

You are ready for the challenges of helping transform large enterprises to the next generation of connected experiences. You have a deep and broad expertise in the Connected Experiences industry; Such as network/ infrastructure, data, applications/middleware, and/ or security.

  • You hold a BS, CS, or University degree equivalent plus 6-10 years' experience in a consulting role for collaboration services
  • You are fluent with the following technologies: Video Protocols, Call Manager and other Unified Communications Product Portfolio, Routing/Switch, Network Design, Qos, and exposure/knowledge of SnS, MXE, and/or DMS.
  • You're fluent in high availability, security, and operational disciplines (systems management, change management, etc.)
  • You have extensive experience with creation and delivery of executive presentations
  • You have proven experience in thought leadership and services development
  • You love using your good communication skills and experience to help with negotiating and influencing decision makers and leaders of video practices for our customers.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
