What You'll Do

The Cable Access Product Operations team is looking for a motivated and experienced New Product Program Manager (NPPM) to lead all hardware NPI activities. In addition, the NPPM will participate in the development of the software operations strategy. This is a unique opportunity for an individual contributor looking to expand leadership responsibility beyond project level program management. Responsibilities will include:

  • You drive the overall HW NPI portfolio to meet Supply Chain and Business requirements
  • You develop and execute an early engagement strategy focused on enabling production and product quality
  • You ensure PLM standards are maintained for all NPI activities
  • You build multi-functional Supply Chain partnerships during NPI programs
  • You handle business and technical risks for Product Operations and Engineering
  • You lead initial assessment and scoping for new business or product ideas prior to concept commit
  • You establish team NPI capability through process enhancement and team mentoring.

Who You'll Work With

The NPPM will work with HW/SW Engineering Leadership, Product Management, Supply Chain Functions and key supplier.

Who You Are

Requires BA/BS or equivalent in Technical Degree. Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred. MBA degree preferred.

  • You will have 10+ years leading HW and SW New Product Introduction, and experience leading teams
  • You will have a deep understanding of key Product Lifecycle Management concepts with the ability to explain this effectively to management or multi-functional teams
  • Basic knowledge or experience in SW development, release, and subscription models
  • Capability and passion to develop others
  • Experience in process development and a high-energy, extraordinary ability to learn.
