Description **ROLE SUMMARY**

+ Provides AutoCAD support for engineering projects, facilities and equipment by either generating, modifying existing or new vendor drawings into the current site drawing system.

+ Works on multiple CAD projects simultaneously.

+ Maintains facility and equipment drawings including record drawings and drawing revisions.

+ Provides guideance to vendors for site drawing requirements and standards.

+ Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and team building strengths to interact with all disciplines and personnel levels.


+ Follows and improves policy for facility record drawings including standards and controls.

+ Establishes guidelines to maintaining record drawings.

+ Prepares detailed electrical, mechanical, architectural and civil record drawings for a pharmaceutical facility utilizing computer aided drafting equipment.

+ Drafts complex electrical wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, mechanical equipment, physical layouts, piping and instrument diagrams and component and other special diagrams.

+ Field verifies drawing information; inspects facilities and equipment for verification and conformance with record drawings.

+ Routes drawings for approval based on site policy.

+ Develops and maintains filing system for all record drawings for the pharmaceutical facility.

+ Interacts with colleagues and vendors to provide accurate and GMP drawings for equipment and facilities.


+ Degreed in drafting from a technical/trade school or better

+ Two years of experience in drafting work and maintenance of AutoCAD vault or similar system.

+ Experience working with AutoCAD 2012.

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.

+ Demonstrated good writing and presentation skills.

+ Demonstrated planning and organization skills, ability to multi-task.

+ Preferred - Knowledge of GMP standards and use of quality systems tools.
