Primary Responsibilities:
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in the area of medical management and provides strategic consultation on program design and execution
  • Outward-facing, dedicated resource for assigned accounts, working collaboratively with internal resources on plan performance and support for meetings
  • Builds relationships with employer / group clients and provides direction and oversight on cost containment objectives, engagement strategies and overall medical management support
  • Represents client internally and coordinates with other functions to escalate issues, complete projects, and address ongoing service needs
  • Analyze plan performance and risk analysis in order to make appropriate recommendations and assist with strategy development
  • Jobs in this function may work closely with sales and account management on renewals and upselling, but incumbents do not have specific sales goal accountability or primary responsibility to close sales 
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) or a High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years working within the Insurance Industry
  • Proficient in Report Analysis and plan recommendations
  • Must be willing to travel to customer meetings (travel will be approximately 35%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with Medical Management or Medical Terminology
