Job Description

  • Lead the development and delivery of the Annual Customer Insights Operating Plan for all Pepsico brands across the Foodservice RTM channel.
  • Set the agenda for the channel in conjunction with Insights Lead and act as an integral partner to internal sales team by providing category and customer insight that shapes strategies and tactics
  • Leverage strategic insights to build Trusted Advisor relationships with decision making stakeholders across key Foodservice customers (Bidfood, Brakes, Compass, Sodexo) to drive category, customer and Pepsico growth
  • On-point for insight and capability requirements for field B&I expansion plans including securing data from contract caterers for call file matching
  • On-point insight expert and hero breakfast occasion to develop x-channel insights to boost Juice and Grains presence including docking point for Nutrition Perfect Store and Field expansion in B&I
  • Take the lead in delivering bespoke shopper research to close identified insight gaps
  • Lead the relationship with key Foodservice data suppliers (e.g. NPD and Kantar), sharing value added insights internally and externally and leading annual contract negotiations to support productivity KPO
  • Contribute to overall Customer Insights Team agenda and vision

Qualifications/Requirements

  1. Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to synthesise and integrate learning from multiple sources and see the connections in data, trends and events to generate insights
    • Briefs others and agencies on the type and scope of data to be obtained and analysed
    • Recommends and implements solutions based on rigorous information gathering and analytical thinking
  1. Collaborating and influencing
    • Actively seeks and understands the input of others to gain broad alignment to ideas.
    • Can be direct/forceful as well as tactful/diplomatic
    • Influences others through reasoning and relationships rather than by using strong pressure tactics
    • Understands and uses informal networks at the appropriate level to get things done
  1. Strong presentation skills
    • Comfortable presenting internally / externally to all levels
    • Builds compelling arguments using data an insight
  1. Relationship building and maintenance
  1. 2+ yrs Category management experience necessary, Away from home experience preferable but not essential
