What you’ll do:

Global Procurement Services at Cisco is charged with redefining Procurement. This team translates Cisco's contingent labor needs into solutions for our business clients.

Responsibilities include supporting the development of a Category Strategy including delivery channel requirements, KPIs, Savings and CSAT targets, internal client relationship management, sourcing, and supplier management. You will directly execute and support the implementation of the Category Strategy. You will remain aware of industry trends and innovations and continuously incorporate into the strategy for Cisco's benefit. You will work closely with the Operations Teams to continuously monitor the delivery channel and adapt plans based on data. You will negotiate pricing and contracts with assigned suppliers/partners. You will manage escalations to ensure the continuity of supply.

 Who you’ll work with:

You will be part of a Global Procurement Category and Supplier Management Team responsible for Contingent Labor supply for multiple business functions.  You will manage assigned internal stakeholder relationships and suppliers in support of the contingent labor needs. 

Who you are

You will have a demonstrated ability to utilize Six Sigma, or other recognized Continuous Improvement principles in your core role  and have a Continuous Improvement mindset.  You will have demonstrated the ability to formulate a Category/Commodity Strategy including Delivery Channel and KPIs, Savings targets and successfully lead to execution.  You are highly collaborative and have demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels without direct authority.  You have E2E Supply Chain Understanding and Perspective with a strong business acumen.  You have the ability to anticipate impacts of decisions and actions downstream and adjust accordingly.  You have an understanding of labor market trends including talent cloud and the sharing economy.  You have exceptional communications and presentation skills and good stakeholder Management skills.  Familiarity with Cognitive and AI platforms.

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 Years of Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain Management Experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent years of related experience.  Degree in Supply Chain or related degree is preferred.  
  • Supplier Management and Development
  • Data Analysis
  • Proficiency with Fieldglass or other leading VMS tools, strongly preferred
