Schick Shadel Hospital, a 60-bed alcohol and chemical dependency hospital located in the outskirts of Seattle, has been providing successful chemical dependency treatment since 1935.  The hospital, which claims the "#1 Success Rate in Treating Alcoholism" bases its success on its unique and powerful counter conditioning treatment program.  The hospital provides medication detoxification and an intense, short stay addiction treatment program for alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescriptions opioids and heroin (smoked/snorted).

Schick Shadel Hospital  currently has a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position available.  The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:
1.   Assisting the licensed nursing staff in providing nursing care services.
2.   Attending staff report and identifying special needs of assigned patients. 
3.   Keeping accurate nursing care records.
4.   Maintaining a neat and orderly patient environment.
5.   Stocking supplies for the Nurse’s Station.
6.   Performing patient observation rounds.


Applicant must have completed a program for certification as a Nursing Assistant and have a Washington License.
Experience in hospital setting preferred. Must have an interest in the field of substance abuse.
