Job Details


Act as a Corporate and plant resource to execute, review, coordinate, track, and ensure compliance of Plant and Corporate changes that affect the Hospira McPherson facility. Provide change control consulting to change owners in support of Corporate and plant activities. Evaluate process/procedure changes as necessary and assure changes are implemented in associated plant procedures. Track, trend, and report Plant Changes to Plant Management staff as well as determine changes are implemented in a systematic way to assure effective and timely closure. Promote consistency in the execution of changes and the required deliverables throughout the plant. Review and evaluate sensitive and confidential information as it pertains to specific plant changes.


+ Responsible for the review, coordination and implementation of Pfizer and PC1 changes that impact the McPherson plant.

+ Provide consulting support to business units, corporate, and customers for changes.

+ Act as the McPherson site resource for change plans which impact the plant, including ensuring product is held and equipment is not used, until qualified and found acceptable.

+ Track, trend, and report changes that apply to product, procedures, processes, equipment, facility changes, and all affected systems.

+ Acts as the SME for required hold strategies


+ Bachelor's Degree in Science or Technical field required OR at least 10 years pharmaceutical industry experience required in lieu of a degree.

+ Experience working in the bio-pharmaceutical industry with focus on pharmaceutical quality preferred.

+ Demonstrated experience with GxP, FDA or other key regulatory bodies preferred.


Office environment with some production floor interaction (minimal)
